The Beauty of The Rant: Initiation of the Blog

Rants are beautiful.

There is an incredible power behind a "rant." It is a spilling of emotion about a single subject. A monologue that expresses a deep contempt or frustration for any given thing that the world has to offer.

The purpose of this blog is to explore "Rants" in their entirety. The rants that I consider to be fantastic rants, and which will be featured by this blog are not the rants that use curse words between every single word. Rather, rants which contain true substance, which scream "I Hate _____ with a passion and this is why..." will be this blog's focus.

Rants on religion, music, politics, education, parents, children, animals, and even toasters are all potential subjects of this blog. I will do my best to keep this blog as an objective source for the best rants, rather than featuring rants which support my personal views.

I hope that anyone who is interested in this blog will send me links to the best rants which they have seen: the most funny, true, interesting, absurd, etc.

I also would like to receive personal rants - in the form of a document, video, or any other medium - from the followers of this blog. I will post a "Rant of the Week" from here on out, and hope that some of these will be from followers and readers of this blog. Don't hesitate to send me a rant on anything, I would love to read it. I want to see what people rant about, what makes people tick, and see if there are any consistancies among how people go about formulating their rants.
